I'm going to do the same thing I did last year and stop reading blogs for Lent. It will be good for me, and I'm sure my audience will survive. Check back in about 40 days.
Reading does not preclude you from writing as long as you never reread what you write. A stream of conscience blog could be interesting along with random newspaper stories. Personally I think you should have went with something harder like waking up early or taking days off from running cause its "cold out". But who am I to talk as I write this from home. Maybe I should say I'm going to spend at least half the day in the office.
