i have a French and 2 Russian colleagues here in the UK and we were talking about the difference in the education systems. Basically I told them that we stress creativity above rigor (which the russians found apalling). This article explains why... we're just lazy!
And it's true! at least as far as I'm concerned it's true... I'm dang lazy.
