An assessment of Harry Potter:

He's a glory hog who unfairly receives credit for the accomplishments of others and who skates through school by taking advantage of his inherited wealth and his establishment connections.

Funny article! And it does have a grain of truth, in that Harry always depends on others for "his" accomplishments. However, as Dumbledore points out, the fact that Harry forms the type of friendships such that his friends are willing to help him out to such a degree is his key accomplishment - and one of the main things that sets him apart from Voldemort.
Keep in mind, too, that Harry would like nothing better than to be the normal anonymous schoolkid. He does not seek greatness; he has it thrust upon him, deserved or undeserved.
