Language Log likes to highlight strange translations. The latest one is classic - almost as good as my all-time favorite.

Here's one from a recent visit to China. In the brand-new Beijing airport there's a sign over a display of various kinds of containers that's translated into English as "Rems and hems with limited quite." These things make me nervous about using phrasebooks and dictionaries in my own travels.
